4 Year Program

Electricians install, maintain, and repair new and existing residential, commercial, and industrial structures. After completion of coursework and on-the-job training, electrical apprentices are eligible to take the State of Michigan journey-level assessment and obtain an electrical license.

AVERAGE INCOME: $34.50/HOUR (upon completion of training)

Carpenters cut, shape, fit and assemble building materials in the construction of buildings. Carpenters today build with wood, metal, plastics, fiberglass and Styrofoam. Following blueprints they measure, layout, and build foundations, walls, floors, ceiling and roofs.

Welders join objects together by applying heat or pressure. Our course provides introductory knowledge of welding principles including safety, materials, equipment, and different welding processes. Students who complete this course will gain the skills and knowledge to start a career in welding, or add welding skills to their skilled trades portfolio.
