About Us

Vocational School Madison Heights MI

For over 20 years, the Southeast Michigan Construction Academy (SEMCA) has been proud to provide valuable training to the construction industries emerging workforce.

The construction industry is a growing industry that injects funds and new life into the community and creates the infrastructure critical to keeping the country moving forward.

We provide hands on training programs taught by masters in their craft who are still active in the field. This education gives our students a competitive advantage in the field. Our curriculum is focused on apprenticeships in electrical, carpentry, sheet metal, and HVAC.

At SEMCA, we encourage students to begin a rewarding career path where they can make a good income, get a quality education, and provide for their families.

South East Michigan Construction Academy holds accreditation with the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) who produces industry-recognized credentials that are portable, stackable and nationally recognized. Our apprenticeship program is registered with the United States Department of Labor and is approved by the State of Michigan.
